So I tried uninstalling and reinstalling my scanner the other day...only to have it fail...something about it not being able the load the java virtual console...I have no idea how to fix it...I had this problem before and somehow managed to get around it...but this time i really have no idea how to get it working...

My scanner is this really old 3-in-1 thinger fromm the nineties...haha...so I was thinking that even though I didn't have a scanner I could still use it as a printer...but unfortunately in order to reinstall something you must first uninstall it...and so I did so...and as the reinstall could not be completed...I just left it as is thinking that it would still function as a printer...but when I tried to print something I needed in order to do my HW earlier tonight...the printer...did not work...apperently my computer is SO STUPID that it will not read mew hardware and install them on its own...so my printer was useless as of that moment...and of course...me being the damn slacker that I am..had decided top once again put off her hw until about an hour and a half before it was due...

So it's 10:00 PM at night...and I haven't eaten anything...so I'm cooking dinner and doing my HW all at the same time...while fighting of feelings of nausea from being sick...and on top of that...I had to run a system restore on my computer to get my printer to work again...thankfully at least THAT worked...I really do need a new computer...this one is a insanely large piece of crap...which just leads me to the conclusion that DELL computers are really not worth buyin...and furthering my frustration at not having a job (though admittedly...I will always spend too much money when i have it...) I really want to ask my mom for a new comp...but she's as strapped for cash as I am right now...so it doesn't really work out... :/
In addition...I don't really feel up for buying a new computer when it will come preinstalled with windows vista...and as far as I know...the only company that offers a downgrade to XP with a new computer is...that's right...Dell...what a dilemma~
